Through the Lens is a photography exhibition celebrating 200 years of Bournemouth, which
is being run over a two week period on Bournemouth Pier. Photographs of Bournemouth,
past and present, will be displayed along the glass divide which runs down the Pier.
The exhibition will be supported by workshops led by a professional photographer. A
competition run in conjunction with the Daily Echo will seek to uncover the best historical
photograph of Bournemouth.

Gift Wrapped Events presents 7 Again at the Old Fire Station, a fundraising event in aid of
Julia’s House, the Dorset Children’s Hospice. Julia’s House is an organisation which helps
enrich and maximise the quality of life for Dorset children and young people with lifelimiting
or life-threatening conditions. They provide support from diagnosis to death and
beyond for the whole family.
For one night only the event will take you back in time to relive the best of your childhood.
Throughout the evening there will be party games, drinking games, a raffle, inflatable’s,
retro 90s anthems, retro fancy dress and more.

This event takes place between 10am – 4pm at the Wellspring Centre in Boscombe and
provides the Polish community with the chance to find out about events, social clubs, places
of interest and general information about living in Bournemouth. Tickets are priced at £3
per adult and £2 per child.
