Bournebeat Hotel Exhibition<br />
The Bournebeat Hotel on 12 Priory Road is holding an exhibition throughout the course of<br />
<strong>2010</strong> from 9.30am – 11.30pm every day. The exhibition will cover 50-60 years of<br />
contemporary music history relating to <strong>Bournemouth</strong> concerts and top venues.<br />
01 <strong>Aug</strong> <strong>2010</strong> The <strong>2010</strong> Thai Summer Festival<br />
Now established as the most prestigious Thai fair in the UK, make sure you don’t miss out<br />
on the <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Thai Language and Culture School’s Summer Fair on 1 st <strong>Aug</strong>ust at King’s<br />
Park. From 10am – 6pm visitors can witness a display of Classical Thai dancing and musical<br />
performances, Muay Thai (Thai boxing), fruit carvings, traditional Thai massage, activities<br />
for children and various stalls. There will also be an assortment of delicacies from London<br />
and South England’s best Thai eateries and a bar garden selling traditional Thai beers.<br />
Admission fee is £3.00 for adults, £1.00 for children, with under-five’s free. The proceeds<br />
of the admission charges will go to the <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Thai Language and Culture School.<br />

The week commencing the 2 <strong>Aug</strong>ust will see <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Carnival Week return for an action<br />
packed 7 days. <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Carnival Week was originally known as <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Regatta week<br />
and has been operating since the 1800s. Carnival activities include: the Carnival Queen, Prince<br />
Consort, Princess and Page Boy competition; sand building contests; duck racing; musical<br />
displays; beach quizzes; chalk drawing contests; dance shows; teddy bear’s picnic; bug hunting<br />
and decorating boats.<br />
