Bournebeat Hotel Exhibition<br />
The Bournebeat Hotel on 12 Priory Road is holding an exhibition throughout the course of<br />
<strong>2010</strong> from 9.30am – 11.30pm every day. The exhibition will cover 50-60 years of<br />
contemporary music history relating to <strong>Bournemouth</strong> concerts and top venues.<br />

Mary and Percy were shunned by conventional society and became both outcasts and exiles. To<br />
reflect this local playwright, Nell Leyshon is keen to develop a Festival project with Vita Nova.<br />
During the weekend members of Dorset Dinner Speakers will be reading from Mary's books. There<br />
will also be an actress reading from her letters, and there are plans to work closely with the<br />
Poole Literary Festival.<br />
Artist, Diane Roberts, will be running a children's workshop and students from the Arts University<br />
College will exhibit their Frankenstein works at the BNSS. Three women from Viaraggio, Italy<br />
will also be taking part.<br />

<strong>2010</strong> Chess Congress<br />
The Bicentenary Chess Congress is being held at the <strong>Bournemouth</strong> International Hotel on West<br />
Cliff. It features the Open Championships, the Majors, the Minors and includes five tournaments<br />
running for four hours each.<br />
The entry fee ranges from £15 for under 18s to £25 for the Open Championships. For further<br />
