22 May 2010 The 2010 Pinewalk Art Exhibition
The 22 May sees the return of the Pinewalk Art Exhibition, one of the largest and longest running
open-air displays in the country. This exhibition parades the work of artists in Bournemouth’s
Lower Gardens and offers residents and visitors the opportunity to purchase the arts.
The exhibition will feature water colour and oil paintings, photographs and sculptures making the
event appealing to all and runs until 5 September. Pinewalk Art is run by Bournemouth Council’s
tourism department and is developed and managed by a steering group of artists and Council
officers.

23 May 2010 The 2010 Bournemouth Limmud
Day
Bournemouth Limmud is being held on 23 May at Bournemouth University’s Talbot Campus.
The event is scheduled to run from 9.30-16.00 and is expecting 350-400 people to attend!
23 May 2010 Mad Hatters Tea Party
The Friends of Fisherman’s Walk invite you to join them on Sunday 23 May between 1.00pm
and 6.00pm in Fisherman’s Walk, Southbourne for a Mad Hatters Tea Party. We would
encourage as many children as possible to attend and dress up in ‘Alice and Wonderland’ style
costume – don’t forget to bring your mums and dads, grandparents etc!
The Tea Party will take the form of a Picnic in the walk (refreshments can be purchased on
site but by all means bring your own food and drink plus rugs/chairs). A full afternoon’s
entertainment will be provided including Children’s Entertainer and a variety of Musical acts.
Southbourne traders will also be taking part offering a variety of stalls.
