11 Apr <strong>2010</strong> Hip Hop Workshops<br />
On Sunday 11 April there will be two free Hip Hop workshops for all abilities in the Pavilion<br />
Ballroom from 10am – 12pm.<br />
These workshops are open to everyone and booking is not required!<br />
16 Apr <strong>2010</strong> Deeply Purple & Dead Lettuce<br />
Deeply Purple, a Deep Purple tribute, and Dead Lettuce is being held at the Champions, 51<br />
Norwich Avenue West at 8.30pm (doors open at 7.30pm). Tickets are priced at £6 or £8 on<br />
the door.<br />
17 Apr <strong>2010</strong> I BTown<br />
Fashion Students from <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Art’s University have teamed up with River Island to<br />
host their ‘I Love BTown’ event on the seafront, opposite the Land Train Garages.<br />
This free event is open to all and will run from 12pm-4pm. ‘I Love BTown’ plans to celebrate<br />
<strong>Bournemouth</strong> as a whole and local student talent in the form of a Vintage School Fete.<br />
17 Apr <strong>2010</strong> Dorset Music Awards <strong>2010</strong><br />
Dorset Music Awards, in association with Absolute Music returns after 4 successful years.<br />
These awards act as competition to find the best band or musician in Dorset, enabling them<br />
to gain exposure, fans, gigs and ultimately the opportunity to win prizes. Prizes include:<br />
£1000 recording equipment, recording time, a photo shoot and much more.<br />
The event is due to run from 7.30pm – 12am and is being held at the Royal Bath Hotel.<br />
