What we said we would do during 2009/10<br />
79 Disseminate best practice and maximise the use of<br />
positive action to attract and recruit staff from underrepresented<br />
groups including the adoption of a range of<br />
workforce targets for attraction, recruitment and<br />

standard for the fire service<br />

What we have done so far<br />
Further report to Panel in September <strong>2010</strong>.<br />
Significant contributions made to new framework.<br />
The new Equality Framework will be launched in Leicester on 7 & 8 December 2009.<br />
We have agreed to randomly sample 5% of FRS staff to check whether equality and diversity objectives are<br />
included in personal development plans.<br />
