Brilliant purple garnet with a dark dusty nose of Bing cherry, tobacco and
green olive. A classically built Pinot Noir of some heft showing condensed ripe cherry riding
on a structurally significant core of acid and well -formed tannin. An elegant food wine, made
more for time than for cocktail parties.

The 2006 Cumberland Reserve is a multi-appellation blend from the following vineyards:
Bergstöm, de Lancellotti, Shea, Nysa, Durant, Temperance Hill, Anderson, Palmer Creek,
Cherry Grove, Pelos Sandberg, Kalita, Lia’s Bishop Creek and Vigna Giovanni. Each vineyard
harvested, vinified and barrel-aged separately until blending in Mid-August of 2007.
The color is deep ruby red with pale reflections of pink at the rim of the glass. On the nose
you will find bright and youthful aromas of bright red cherry, red currant, chocolate and sweet
spices such as clove, cinnamon and vanilla. These aromas echo in the generous mouthfeel with
bright red berry and high-toned sweet spices finishing with good acid and fine tannins and a
healthy amount of ripeness, characteristic of this warm vintage.

“The 2005 Dusky Goose continues to evolve in the bottle. The new oak (35%) is integrating
nicely giving the wine hints of tobacco and cassis. The fruit is deep, dark and dense with aromas
of crushed blackberries and hints of pomegranate. The mouth is also big sweet and full of ripe
plums, a hint of licorice and a round rich mocha finish. The 2005 is surprisingly dark fruited
