b) Cooperative Bid Resolution
Lead Agency
Recommend adoption of the following resolution which will authorize the Albany-Schoharie-
Schenectady-Saratoga BOCES to participate in joint Cooperative Bids for the procurement of
commodities and/or services as listed below, and,
WHEREAS, the lead agency shall coordinate the cooperative effort, as authorized by New York
State General Municipal Law, Section 119-o, and
WHEREAS, the lead agency shall assume the responsibility for the drafting of specifications,
advertising for bids, accepting and opening bids, tabulating bids, and reporting the results to the
participates, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the lead agency(s) listed below shall hereby represent all of the
participants in awarding the bid as indicated, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, participants have agreed that unless all bids are rejected, it
shall award contracts according to the recommendations of the lead agency.
