range with a minimum <strong>of</strong> one month (Panellist #18) and a maximum <strong>of</strong> 44 years<br />

7.3 Result structure<br />
The testing programme was arranged so that ideally each panellist would sit in on<br />
three sessions, each session being approximately three hours in duration. Within<br />
that session each panellist would be exposed to three H 2 S samples (and also some<br />
n-butanol samples). For each sample there would be three rounds. So in theory<br />
each panellist would have 27 threshold values determined (Figure 7.5) at the<br />
completion <strong>of</strong> testing. As the testing program evolved no panellists recorded 27<br />
values for a range <strong>of</strong> logistical reasons (Figure 7.6).<br />
