BC 2700: Remnants <strong>of</strong> shattered Oltec tribes begin warring with each other across the Sea <strong>of</strong> Dread.<br />

Twaal agents play one faction <strong>of</strong>f <strong>of</strong> the other to destabilize the area.<br />

Having learned <strong>of</strong> the existence <strong>of</strong> other surface dwellers from the Inti, the Deep Elves begin campaigns to<br />

infiltrate and corrupt all those living under the light <strong>of</strong> the sun.<br />

Suffering greatly from the wasting, Taymorans turn to practices <strong>of</strong> undeath to help preserve their society.<br />

The first vampire queen is born.<br />

BC 2650: The Twaal subjugate several Oltec tribes living on islands in the Sea <strong>of</strong> Dread and establish the<br />

Empire <strong>of</strong> Adhuza. The empire quickly establishes dominance over other cultures in the area.<br />

BC 2600: As climates start shifting back towards the more temperate, human nations once again strengthen<br />

and become prominent. Several giant kingdoms band together, forming the nation <strong>of</strong> Grondheim, in the<br />

hopes <strong>of</strong> stopping the renewed threat to their peoples.<br />

Conflicts between the Makers and their Oltec and triton neighbors rage on and <strong>of</strong>f for the next few<br />

centuries resulting in the Refuge <strong>of</strong> the Makers being attacked on more than one occasion. Though few in<br />

number, the Makers repulse their attackers, withstanding every assault.<br />

BC 2580: Despite the strides made through undeath, the Taymorans find their culture fading and decide<br />

that they must move to unspoiled lands.<br />

BC 2576: Rafiel takes an interest in the Moadreg and prompts them to begin building a wondrous artifact<br />

on the Bridge <strong>of</strong> Oost called the Gate <strong>of</strong> Light. Dwarven radiomancers break their traditional seclusion and<br />

form a community around the artifact.<br />

BC 2550: The Moadreg conflicts with their neighbors intensifies. Giants, elves, even dragons in the area,<br />

take an immediate disliking to the plague bearing dwarves. Some <strong>of</strong> the giant tribes begin to work together<br />

to repel the new invaders.<br />

BC 2550: Winter recedes, and many <strong>of</strong> the great glaciers begin to shrink. As the power <strong>of</strong> the Winter<br />

Kings lessens, Antalian society begins to fracture.<br />

BC 2500: In Vulcania, the elven civilisation is losing its battle with the elements. The Second Migration<br />

leaves Vulcania, and once again elves violate the territory <strong>of</strong> the Twaal. These elves are more savvy sea<br />

travelers and are not intimidated by the ocean dwellers. Elven ships sail the seas looking for signs <strong>of</strong> the<br />

first migration 300 years prior.<br />

Dwarves from the Brunian migration meet refugees from Skotharian near the Bridge <strong>of</strong> Oost. The dwarves<br />

unite with local gnomish tribes and attempt to build a home for themselves.<br />

Taymoran humans (migrating from the northwest) settle the shores <strong>of</strong> the southern coast <strong>of</strong> Brun. They<br />

integrate several tribes <strong>of</strong> taurans and lupins already living in the area into their culture.<br />

BC 2490: The Twaal tritons begin a long series <strong>of</strong> disputes with the elves <strong>of</strong> Vulcania. They call upon<br />

their immortal patrons to send a plague upon the elves.<br />

BC 2473: Dranwyrf unites the clans and makes a final stand in the Maghkrys Mountains against the giant<br />

and elven hordes persecuting his people. The combined strength <strong>of</strong> the dwarves crushes their enemies like<br />

copper on an anvil. Dranwyrf is named First King <strong>of</strong> the Shimmering Lands and the site <strong>of</strong> the battle<br />

becomes Drangyr, the first gatherhold <strong>of</strong> the Moadreg.<br />

BC 2460: Desperate to stop the tidal wave <strong>of</strong> human expansion, the giant kings call upon the fey court for<br />

assistance. Their pleas are heard, and the Troll Queen comes to their aid.<br />

BC 2450: The Inti emerge from the Great Plateau and begin to rebuild their empire underneath the sun.<br />

They come into conflict with nearby giants from Grondheim and Taymorans.<br />
