City Council Meeting - Cornelius

Acting City Manager Rubenstein noted the letter included in the meeting packet from
Merina & Company, LLP; the firm currently in the process of doing an audit. He
explained the letter’s purpose, emphasizing that the letter was intended solely for the
use of the Mayor and City Council and City management, not for use by other parties.
He and City Recorder Roth responded to clarifying questions from the Council.
10. COUNCIL ANNOUNCEMENTS
A. City Council Worksession – Monday, September 12, 2011 7:00 pm; The subject will be
the City Manager Hiring Process.
B. Election-Tuesday, September 27, 2011
C. City Council Meeting – Monday, October 3, 2011 7:00 pm
Acting City Manager Rubenstein noted the worksession now scheduled for October 17 th at 7:00
p.m. He reminded everyone that the 10 th Anniversary of 9/11 was this coming weekend. A large
ceremony with representatives from the public safety community would be held under the
large flag in Forest Grove on Sunday morning, September 9 th . He agreed to send the event’s
start time to the Councilors.

12. ADJOURN MEETING
A motion was made by Council Gottwald to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Councilor Minshall.
Motion carried 5-0. Ayes: Councilor Heinrich, Councilor Dalin, Councilor Minshall, Councilor Gottwald,
and Mayor Knight.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:53 pm.
