Council Present: Steve Heinrich, Jose Orozco, Harley Crowder, Dave Schamp, and Mayor Jeffrey Dalin
Staff Present: Rob Drake, City Manager; Paul Rubenstein, Chief of Police; Michael Kinkade, Fire
Chief; Debby Roth, City Recorder‐Treasurer; Terry Keyes, City Engineer, Mark Crowell, Public Works
Director.
Mayor Dalin called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:00 PM and led the Pledge of
Allegiance.
1. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
A motion was made by Councilor Heinrich to adopt the agenda as presented, seconded by Councilor
Crowder. Motion carried 5-0. Ayes: Councilor Heinrich, Councilor Orozco, Councilor Crowder, Councilor
Champ, and Mayor Dalin.
2. CONSENT AGENDA
A. Meeting Minutes-June 4, 2012
B. Intergovernmental Agreement –Renewal wit Washington County West Nile Virus
A motion was made by Councilor Heinrich was made to adopt the consent agenda as presented,
seconded by Councilor Crowder. Motion carried 5-0. Ayes: Councilor Heinrich, Councilor Orozco,
Councilor Crowder, Councilor Schamp, and Mayor Dalin.
3. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION – ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA
Laura Christy and Becky Steward, 1413 S Cherry Street, addressed the City Council, noting they
were presenting cards signed by all the members of the General Unit requesting the City
Council’s support in reaching a fair and honest contract. The cards were provided to City
Recorder Roth for the record.
