Starkstrom Augsburg e.V. was founded in 2011 and has about<br />

170 members in <strong>2014</strong>. The Racing Team itself has about 100<br />

Teammembers which work directly on the car or coordinate the<br />

projects with our sponsors. As we build most of the car by<br />

ourselves, we have to bring in a lot of effort for manufacturing<br />

on the one hand, but on the other hand, the in-house production allows us to control the emergence of the<br />

car as best as possible.<br />

This year we participate at the Red Bull Ring for the first time. With our third car, called „Elinor“ we are<br />

looking forward to the challenge on a new racetrack.<br />

For being competitive, we strengthened our design focus on ligthweight solutions. Although we added an<br />

aerodynamic package we were able to reduce the weight significantly. Additional, elaborated electronic<br />

driver assistance systems enhance the driving performance.<br />
