A/Prof Anthony Smith wass the inaugural Queensland representative of the Australasian
Telehealth Society, established in 2008. He was elected Vice-President of the ATHS in
November 2012.

‣ Norwegian Centre for Integrated Care and Telemedicine
The COH hosted Mr Leif Nohr for a six month sabbatical. Leif is a lawyer with special
interests and expertise in the field of telemedicine.

Links established with Professor Jim Marcin (now an honorary Professor at the COH) – with
common interests in paediatric critical care telemedicine completed his sabbatical at the
COH.
