A romantic venue right in the heart of Stratford, the Old
Town Hall is full of Victorian charm and splendour. A prime
location with excellent transport links, it has a banqueting
hall ideal for a variety of events from exhibitions to dinners,
a choice of private rooms for smaller functions and a
Victorian courtyard for open-air events.
A historic landmark
The Old Town Hall is a landmark four-story hall built in 1869. In the 1890s it
was a popular entertainment venue, holding dances and formal dinners.
Restored to its original grandeur, it was reopened by Her Majesty the
Queen in 1986. The Main Hall boasts impressive historical detailing, striking
yet elegant, it truly is a jewel within the Old Town Hall.
Just beyond the doors of the Main Hall lies the Victorian courtyard, a setting rich
with its own history and charm and easily tailored to the theme of your event.
