Participants of the information day visiting Lussonium on 20th November 2009. 3.5 3.6 Webpage We wanted to construct an own webpage for Lussonium (www.lussonium.hu) since the start of the project, which would not only serve as a static information base, but a dynamic, interactive webpage with information for experts, videos, 3D graphics, virtual tours, a geographical information system and various other applications. The webpage also features several functions, including an informative, a professional and a didactic one. The opening page of www.lussonium.hu 3.7 Horticultural plans In order to provide access for visitors to Lussonium, a new horticultural concept had to be created. The main aim of the horticultural plans in Lussonium is to provide a visitor-oriented, high-quality, cultivated and aesthetic garden, which is able to represent an authentic historic environment. The officially approved plans arrived in 2010, but the call for proposals were issued until the 15th month (end of 2009), in compliance with the management plans. 13 The completed horticultural plan concentrated mostly on the territory outside the fortification walls, since exhibition rooms and the playground can only be built here, considering that Lussonium is under archaeological and heritage protection.
