As a result of the merger of AVV and KVV with
Stadtwerke Leipzig GmbH carried out in the
2009 financial year, all contractual receivables
and liabilities were eliminated or set off against
each other. To illustrate these effects, last year’s
figures in the balance sheet and the profit and
loss account are shown in the following as
though the merger had already taken place one
year earlier:
