Rick Kuehl is a Class 2 manufacturer
who makes dedicated .22LR uppers
for AR-15's. (He also makes select-fire
ones for the lucky owners of
M-16's, but that isn't our interest
here.) Instead of the wrong twist and
loose bore that a .22 centerfire barrel
represents to a long rifle bullet, he
builds uppers with proper barrel
blanks. Instead of the chamber-shaped
Mags that work! Among the
Keuhl's strong points are a match-accurate
barrel, and good mags (below).

them to the specs you desire. Have it
built all the way, or leave it bare bones
so you can rebuild it the way you want,

you want a shorty for indoor practice,
he can do it. A full-size upper for Service
Rifle practice? A flat-top? A2? No
problem.
