1990 GEORGIA STATE CHAMPS By: Randy Carlton A-9718 A record 174 shooters from 8 states came together at the beautiful South River Gun Club in Covington, GA on September 28-30 to enjoy the largest, most exciting state match in our history. This year's match was sponsored jointly by Springfield Armory and Caspian Arms. Inc. house. Behind each was a shoot target. Once these targets were engaged, the shooter moved to a window on either side of the house and engaged the targets appearing in that area. A combination of poppers, plates, shoots and no-shoots greeted them as they moved through the house. The final firing port saw 5 poppers, 3 of which were no-shoots with shoot plates in front of them.
