An estimated 300people attended the fair to participatein wellness screenings, including ablood glucose test offered by MMCand receive health information, suchas the signs and symptoms of heartattack and stroke.On March 5, MRMC joinedother community partners at theHealth and Wellness Fair sponsoredby the <strong>Maury</strong> County Family YMCA.This event offered a series of freewellness screenings and healthinformation to an estimated 100community members. A free CPRprogram was also offered during theevent. Wellness screenings offeredby MRMC included ankle-brachialindex (ABI), blood pressure, bonedensity, and a lipid panel and glucosescreening. Departments participatingincluded EMS, Heart Center, HomeServices, Imaging, Laboratory,Nursing, Physical Medicine,Volunteer Services and Women’sCenter.—3—
