manuscript dates from about 1375 <strong>and</strong> is one of the earliest <strong>and</strong> most important
contributions to french hunting <strong>and</strong> bird catching! "J'ai cité cette édition, parce qu'elle est
la meilleure de ce livre précieux. Elle laisse néanmoins beaucoup à désirer, attendu
qu'elle est imprimée dans un caractère soi-disant gothique tout-à-fait de fantaisie et à peu
près illisible, qu'elle contient beaucoup de fautes, et est absolument sans notes. Mais elle
vaut encore mieux que les anciennes éditions si rares et si chères". From the Bibliotheca

Ferrières' famous work! A fine copy, apart from some light staining on the cloth.
