views, 8 lithographs of which 6 are h<strong>and</strong>coloured by Keulemans
depicting birds <strong>and</strong> one coloured geological map of Abyssinia (maybe
the first one ever published). Orig. green cloth. € 780,=
= Nissen ZBI, 406. <strong>Rare</strong>. The Zoological <strong>and</strong> especially the bird section of this work is the
most important part. It describes 293 species <strong>and</strong> sub-species of birds, of which 6 are new
<strong>and</strong> includes all the lovely h<strong>and</strong>coloured plates by Keulemans! Some light foxing
however mostly in the margins. Small library stamp on title. The work is divided in 3
sections being: narrative, zoology <strong>and</strong> geology.
