Such procedures shall be reviewedin each odd-numbered year by the Department of State.The security procedures ensure that the county has adequate safeguards fortheir ballots, voting system, and facilities. The Bureau of Voting SystemsCertification has the responsibility to review the procedures during oddnumberedyears or to conduct a review at any time there are changes in theprocedures. After its review, the bureau provides a checklist of acceptable orunacceptable items.
