President, Mrs. Virgie W. Fooks, '01;Vice-President, wetter E. ShOl·t, '08; Seer-e.tary, Charles Holt, '25; Treasurer, Paul C.T.Whipp, '04.March 11 was a "ed lett!'I' day for Alumniin this area. The Thomas LewisMemorial Church Hall-lots of room-everyconvenience_a splendid dinner served by agroup of young men and women of <strong>the</strong> Churchwho did a real job. It was a congenial ga<strong>the</strong>ring'of Alumni and friends who seemed toenjoy every moment; not? ToastmasterLong, in his own way, kept<strong>the</strong> progr-am moving, presenting <strong>the</strong> newChairman of <strong>the</strong> Board of 'I'rusteee, 1\11". F.Murray Benson, '17, <strong>the</strong> President of <strong>the</strong> College,Dr. Lowell S. Ensor, <strong>the</strong> President of <strong>the</strong>Alumni Association, Mrs. Caroline WantzTaylor, '26, <strong>the</strong> Executive Secretary, Col. T.K. Hurrison, '01, <strong>the</strong> Dinner 'I'reasurer, PaulR. Of course you all know that I. play <strong>the</strong>piano-c-or, if you don't know it <strong>the</strong>chances are you never will. She would line up six gr-eatpaintings of <strong>the</strong> Masters, and <strong>the</strong>n playsnatches hom an equal number of <strong>the</strong> gt-ea toperas-c-all mind you, completely unrehearsed.Then would call upon me-and Isay this with justifiable pride, during my fouryears T never' once failed to identify each asei<strong>the</strong>r music 01' painting."
