QuestiO)lnairestowere sent out to the graduates of theclasses of 1924 and 1939. We found the menof Hl24 repor-ting an average of 1.76 childrencompared with national average of 1.77. Theawomen reported 1.1D compared with 1.26 for'the nation. 'The men of 1939 had produced 1.56so fm- compared with a norm of 1.37 whilethe women of that yea)' were fa)' behind withonly .81 compared with 1.11. All this meansthat the men are to replace themselvesby about 16 percent the women are 40percent in arrears.
