QuestiO)lnairestowere sent out to <strong>the</strong> graduates of <strong>the</strong>classes of 1924 and 1939. We found <strong>the</strong> menof Hl24 repor-ting an average of 1.76 childrencompared with national average of 1.77. Theawomen reported 1.1D compared with 1.26 for'<strong>the</strong> nation. 'The men of 1939 had produced 1.56so fm- compared with a norm of 1.37 while<strong>the</strong> women of that yea)' were fa)' behind withonly .81 compared with 1.11. All this meansthat <strong>the</strong> men are to replace <strong>the</strong>mselvesby about 16 percent <strong>the</strong> women are 40percent in arrears.
