Then I took $81 and left.” BBexplained that he choked both women slowly and reiterated that the hangingwas to make the murders appear to be suicides. “I didn’t even think about itafter it happened. I didn’t feel nothing about killing the two women. I didn’tlose a night’s sleep.”Some interesting facts regarding these two victims came to light during theinvestigation. The daughter and her mother seemed to be “more like friendsthan mother and daughter,” according to a family friend. On one occasion, whilethe mother was driving her daughter in the car, she stopped and asked a policemanto get help for her daughter, who apparently was hyperventilating becauseof anxiety. The daughter sat in the car without her skirt or underwear on,completely exposed. A neighbor revealed that the mother could not wait untilher grandchild was born because she could then teach the baby his or her firstword, which would be fuck. There were also reports of swimming in the nudeand other instances of immodesty.When examined at a later date, BB confessed to two similar murders thatoccurred several months prior to the double murder. The first victim was alsoa customer. “I went to her house to do a job. I walked in and found out that noone was there, so I grabbed her and choked her. She was about 40 years old. Shefell to the floor, and I choked her more. After I got done choking her and madesure she was dead, I dragged her in the bathroom, took her top half off andfondled her breasts. Then I put her head in the toilet. I went through the drawers,took some change, but no jewelry, and left. Then I went to a bar.”The next murder occurred similarly. “I was in the neighborhood of an oldcustomer, so I knocked on the door, and the housemaid answered. I asked herfor a telephone to call the garage; … since I told her my car broke. She left thefront door open. We went to a little room where there was a toilet and a phone.I grabbed her and choked her. She broke free. I grabbed her again. She passedout after I kept choking her. I went to close the front door. I came back andchoked her a little bit more because she wasn’t dead. I took her top off, fondledher breasts, and then I pushed her head into the toilet too. I took two radiosand left through the back door and went to another job. Then I went to mysister-in-law’s house and went to another job.”
