or authorised for the area of Group 17.1: Production of Wood and Pulp, Paper, Card and Cardboard,
herewith confirms that he has audited whether the location as stated in the Environmental Declaration
of the organisation
Sappi Stockstadt GmbH
with registration no. D-103-00012
complies with all regulations of (EC) Directive No. 1221/2009 of the European Parliament and the
Council dated 25 th November 2009 on voluntary participation of organisations in the common system
for environmental management and environmental audits (EMAS).
With signature of this Declaration, it is confirmed that the expertise audit and validation were
conducted wholly in harmony with the requirements of (EC) Directive No. 1221/2009, that the result
of the expertise audit and validation confirms that evidence of deviation from the pertinent legal
provisions is not existent, that the data and statements of the Environmental Declaration of the
location represent a reliable, credible and true picture of the location within the areas set out in the
Environmental Declaration.
This Declaration cannot be deemed as equivalent to an EMAS registration. The EMAS registration
can only be conferred by an entity responsible pursuant to (EC) Directive No. 1221/2009. This
Declaration may not be used as an independent foundation for informing the general public.
