And thesecond is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”(Matthew 22:36-40) When Jesus stated that the first greatcommandment is to love God with all our heart, He was quotingfrom Deuteronomy 6:5, which says, "And thou shalt love theLORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, andwith all thy might."Jesus said that all the commandments and the prophets hang onthese two commandments. Of the Ten Commandments, the firstfour hang under love to God and the last six hang under love toman.Let us illustrate it like this:6
