Route the cam position sensor connector down the front of the engine and over to thecam position sensor. If your engine has variable valve timing (L99 only) you will findthis connector has five pins. The Painless harness has a pigtail plugged into the matingconnector for this 5 pin connector. Unplug the pigtail and plug the Painless harness fivepin connector into your cam position/cam phazer connector.If your engine does not have variable valve timing (LS2, LS3) you will find this connectorhas three pins. The Painless harness has an adapter pigtail plugged into it that adaptsthe harness to match up to the three pin cam position sensor connector on your engine.Plug the three pin connector on the end of this pigtail directly into the cam positionsensor connector on your engine.21
