3.0 Preventing <str<strong>on</strong>g>Fire</str<strong>on</strong>g> SpreadFigure 3.3. One closure device (fire door) located in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> middle <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> each c<strong>on</strong>necting hallway enables<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> design to meet <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> fire compartment size requirements, and minimize flow issues associated with cow andequipment traffic, and air movement (Figure 3.4).17
