Detailed pay slip indicating basic salary, allowances, P.F, annual increment, otherpayments, joining date etc: shall be prepared and given along with the monthlysalary to Vicar & Associate Vicar. (G.B. Decision 31/05/’05)8.1.2. Leave salary - The Vicar is entitled to one month’s basic salary and allowancesas leave salary each year.8.1.3. Air Passage - The vicar is entitled for air passage for self and family to and froonce during the tenure of his posting or once in three years, whichever isearlier.8.1.4. Provident Fund - 10% of the basic salary is contributed by the parish to theprovident fund; and an equal share is deducted from the Vicar’s salary as hiscontribution and the combined amount is remitted to the Diocesan Bishopannually.8.1.5. Rent - The Vicar is provided with a furnished accommodation free of charge.8.1.6. Electricity, Water, Newspaper, Petrol for car - All actual Electricity, Water,Newspaper, Petrol for car bills are reimbursed.8.1.7. A person can be appointed at a monthly salary of not exceeding KD 25/= forparsonage cleaning and this expense shall be accounted under a special head“Parsonage cleaning”. (G.B. Decision 26/11/’02)8.1.8. A monthly charge of KD 10/= is included in this account towards payment astip to the Watchman of the parsonage building and for washing the car8.2. Farewell Purse for Vicar & Associate Vicar8.2.1. The vicar leaving Kuwait after his tenure shall be given a farewell gift of KD700/= (G.B. Decision 31/05/’05). Appropriate farewell function shall beorganised by the parish. The managing committee shall visit all parishmembers and take a collection on behalf of the outgoing vicar and all theamount collected shall be given to the vicar. (G.B. Decision 13/05/’97)8.2.2. The associate vicar leaving Kuwait after his tenure shall be given a farewell giftof KD 650/= (G.B. Decision 06/06/’06).8.3. Diocesan Centre Fund for Undeveloped Parish8.3.1. An annual contribution is made to the Diocesan Centre to be utilized for thebenefit of undeveloped parishes of the Diocese. This contribution shall be Rs2.5 lakhs.
