Noise levels
When running at full speed, a typical 300 kW turbine could produce about 40 dB
at 100m; a car travelling at 60 kph produces the same noise level at this distance.
For a wind farm of thirty 300 kW turbines, a noise level of 45 dB at a distance of
500m from the nearest machine would be typical.
