LEPUS is an oil-bathed motor-reducer created for slidinggates automation. The motor-reducer irreversibility allows aperfect and safe gate closing avoiding the setup of anelectrolock and in case of power supply lacking, the releasedevice which is in the frontal part of the motor-reducer allows themanual opening and closing. The operator has a mechanicaladjustable clutch which ensures the control of the gatepushing. Moreover, the electronic reversing device realizedthrough an encoder makes the lepus motor-reducer a safe andreliable operator allowing in a simple way to comply with thecurrent norms in the countries where this product is set up.1 Adjustable Foundation plate2 Anchor bolts3 Fixing angulars4 Angular cover5 Pinion97®Sistemi Elettronicidi Apertura Porte e CancelliInternational registered trademark n. 804888MAIN PARTS NOMENCLATURELEPUS6 Lever release reducer7 Adjusting screw mechanical clutch8 Electronic control unit9 Oil filling up cap10 Magnetic encoderFITTING AND CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS810LEPUS MOTOR-REDUCER USING-GRAPHIC3000 Kg2000 Kg1600 Kg600 Kg400 Kg300 Kg25%40%60%75%100%Frequency of use Max gate weightLEPUS 600LEPUS 600LEPUS 1600Oil-bathed motor-reducersLEPUS 1600ENGLISH463DIMENSIONS (mm)347.5215TECHNICAL DATAPower SupplyPowerAbsorbed currentMotor rotation speedReduction ratioRoom temperatureThermal protection interventionWeight of the unit with oilOil quantityProtection ratingGate speed (pinion Z16)Gate speed (pinion Z20)Maximum weight of the gateMechanical clutchInductive or mechanical limit switch600 1600230 V (±5%) 50/60 Hz330W650W1,5 A 1,7 A1400 rpm1/30-20°C +55°C130°C15 Kg1,75 LIP 5510,5 m/min12 m/min600 Kg 1600 Kg1601. Have a mounting plate manufactured to the dimensionsshown in Fig. 1. The plate will require to have concrete holdinginto which the foundation plate and the anchor bolts will bewalled up. It is best if the gate structure allows the plate to beraised up from the finished level by 50 mm. This will stop watergathering around the operator.Fig. 3ENGLISH65Plinth4. FITTING OF THE UNITFig. 12003502.2. When you are concreting in the plate install any necessarycable ducts (30 mm dia. minimum) and cables in through thebase plate. Cable ducts should have sweep bends not elbowones.4.1. Fix the side fixing angulars to the motor-reducer with theprovided screws (Fig. 4)4.2. Fix the motor-reducer to the foundation plate adjusting theside position and its height (Fig. 4 - Fig. 5) considering thementioned measurements in Fig. 2.4.3. Remove the closing loading oil cap (red) and substituteit with that supplied apart provided with the airhole (black).2.3.
