BY COACH
Roads in Lithuania are considered to be
the best in the Baltic States. The ViaBaltica
highway connecting Helsinki with Warsaw
and running through all three Baltic States
is currently under construction. There is a
well-developed domestic and international
bus network. Coaches are considerably
faster than trains.

BUS
The bus network in Lithuania connects
all major regions and towns. Express
coaches usually go directly to the final
destination and are faster than ordinary
coaches. Tickets are available from the
ticket office in the bus station before departure,
or directly from the bus driver

TAXI
Hail a taxi on the street or find one at a
designated standing area featuring the special
Taksi sign. Prices vary from 0.70Lt/km
to 1.50Lt/km. Tourists are advised to ask
about the rate before their journey. Avoid
cars without the Taksi sign.
