This is aBIG city with 14 million people and lotsand lots of things to see. We saw asmuch as we could see in two days. It wasan exceptional way to finish the trip.If you are reading this article andthinking about competing on a WorldChampionship level you are in for afantastic time. Making the podium is ona whole different level from what youhave experienced on a local contestlevel. The commitment of time, airplanes,equipment and money is BIG and worthevery penny.The only bummer of the whole tripwas British Airways. On the trip home,British Airways lost two airplane boxeswith a total of 11 planes in them. One ofBrendon’s planes was signed by many ofthe best pilots from around the world andis impossible to replace. British Airwayshas treated the entire issue as if it reallyis not their problem. I will never fly BritishAirways again. (Both boxes were foundat the end of August in an air cargowarehouse at SeaTac Airport. - Ed)I am sooooo tired. At the same time, Ican’t wait to do it again.
