Roselle Swim School
Your child will gain confi dence and
swimming skills that will prepare them
for swim team or simply keep you at ease
when at the pool. Th is program focuses on
a progression of water skills that increases
your child’s confi dence in the water as
they continue in the program. Th e skills
are designed to challenge each swimmer to
reach their full potential. A Safety Day will
be incorporated into each session. Upon
completion, each participant will receive a
certifi cate of achievement. Swimmers who
complete all of the skills in the level will
receive a ribbon and move on to the next
level. Age ranges are suggested. Skills listed
are requirements to pass the level.
Registration deadline for each
session is the Saturday before the
session starts at 2:00 pm.
• In the event of inclement weather,
staff will make the decision to cancel
class approximately one half-hour prior
to the start of the lesson. If weather is
questionable, please call the Kemmerling
Pool Weather Hotline (630) 671-9261 thirty
minutes prior to your lesson to confi rm
lesson status.
• Due to the limited amount of space
surrounding the pool, parents and other
spectators will be permitted to sit in lounge
chairs on the edge of the zero depth pool
and in the concession area only.
• Th ere will be no make up lessons
scheduled for participants that fail to come
to their regularly scheduled lesson. In
order to ensure low ratios, quality lessons
and instructor availability, participants
must attend the time slot that they have
registered for.
• All refund requests must be made at least
two business days before the fi rst lesson
of a session. Please note that there will
be no refunds issued after the session has
begun. Any refund requested with two or
more business days notice, prior to the fi rst
lesson will receive a full refund, less $5 for
administrative costs.
Guppies (Parent-Tot*)
Ages 6-36 months
Th is level focuses on increasing each child’s
comfort level in the water to ease fear
of swimming and the fundamentals of
direction and what it is like to be under
water. Instructors incorporate games and
songs to make children feel comfortable.
FEE: R $40/NR $50, *R $33/NR $43
*No class 7/4-Fee reduced due to holiday.
Only one parent per child.
Skills: Blow bubbles, Comfortable in water, Supported
front and back glides, Kick feet in water from side
of pool, Parent fi rst entry, Standing bobs, Arm
movements, Water entry to parent from side.

comfortable in the water on their own and
begin learning basics of swimming while supported
or standing.
