Private Piano (JD)
Ages 5 and up
Students of all ages and experience levels
are invited to study piano with one of our
expert teachers. During each 30-minute
session students are exposed to music
theory and technique, classical note-reading,
ear-training, diverse and varied repertoire.
Students also have the option to set their
own goals and personalized interests, such
as: jazz emphasis, reading lead sheets,
playing and singing, accompaniment, and
playing pop hits by ear. Time slots are on
a fi rst-come fi rst-served basis, so please
register early each session.

Beginning
Guitar 1- Guitar
Fundamentals (JD)
Ages 7-12
Beginning Guitar 1 introduces the student
to all the basics of playing guitar, to set a
solid foundation for the future rockers’ they
will become! Students will learn the parts of
the guitar, basic chords and songs, and basic
sight reading and more in a fun fi lled atmosphere
where they can succeed! Guitars can
be rented for $7/class. Th ere is a one-time
book fee of $16.25, payable on the fi rst day
of class.

learned in Beginning Guitar 1, students
learn more chords, songs, sight reading and
are introduced to playing accompaniment
parts with instructor. Th ey will also begin
to play along with a metronome to insure
solid rhythm playing! Guitars can be rented

Ages 13 and up
Students hit the ground running, learning all the basics; parts of the guitar,
how to strum, hold the pick, notes on the guitar, chords, basic scales
and popular songs to get them playing on their own and jamming
with their friends quickly!
