During each 30-minute session students are exposed to music theory and technique, classical note-reading, ear-training, diverse and varied repertoire. AGES 18 AND UP ADULT SPORTS TRY SOMETHING NEW THIS SUMMER! ONLINE REGISTRATION STARTS NOW RPARKS.ORG Adult Tennis (VO) Ages 18 and up We off er a wide array of tennis lessons and league play from ages fi ve to adult held at the Centre Court Athletic Club. From beginners to competitive adult leagues and all skill levels in between, you will fi nd Centre Court a top-notch indoor facility located at 1919 Walnut Street in Hanover Park. At the junior level, classes include Mini Smashers, geared towards beginners ages 5-7, up to the Junior Excellence level for players ready for competitive drills and match play. We also off er adult classes for beginners and intermediate level participants in addition to competitive singles and doubles leagues. Parents, if you have any questions in regards to which class best suites your child, please call Randy Russell, Director of Racquet Sports, at (630) 837-6300. Anyone interested in Youth and Adult Tennis lessons held at Centre Court can stop by the Clauss Recreation Center for a complete list of classes or visit our website at rparks.org. We can also fax and e-mail information in regards to classes, times, and fees. Give us a call at (630) 894-4200. Fall Softball Leagues (VO) Ages 18 and up. Late August through October Th e Roselle Park District is excited to announce that registration is now being accepted for our 2012 fall softball leagues. Captains can register their team with a $75 refundable forfeit fee payment. Returning summer teams will have priority in regards to fall league sign-up. Forfeit fee payment will hold a team’s spot in the fall league. Th e $75 will be refunded following playoff s in the event the team does not forfeit a game or drops from the league prior to the season starting. Both regular season and playoff champions will receive prize money. Register early as leagues fi ll up fast! Team fee is $425 for resident team; $475 for non-resident team. Team fee does not include forfeit fee. Due to the unpredictable nature of fall weather, postponed games may be rescheduled for Tuesday and/or Friday nights. Men’s 16” Softball League ID: 123199-A Monday nights with game times at 6:45, 7:45, and 8:45 pm. Season tentatively scheduled to begin August 20th. Adult Intro to Golf (VO) Ages 16 and up Th is six week course will be taught by a Professional Golf Association member. Beginners and advanced students will learn the proper techniques in making a full swing as well as chipping and putting. Also, golfing etiquette will be discussed. Clubs will be available for use; however students are encouraged to bring their own. Practice balls are not included in the fee.
