The existing right shoulder and curb is not modified. Theresulting configuration is a 3-foot-wide shoulder including curb and gutter on the left, with three12-foot-wide travel lanes and an existing 8-foot-wide right shoulder, including curb and gutter for boththe northbound and southbound parkway that meets NPS design guidelines. The resulting totalroadway width would be 47 feet from face-of-curb to face-of-curb.3.2.2.2AASHTO/SHAInside<strong>Widening</strong>OptionFigure 3.5. The resulting configuration is a 10-foot-wide shoulder on theleft with three 12-foot-wide travel lanes and a 10-foot-wide shoulder on the right for both thenorthbound and southbound parkway that meets AASHTO/SHA design guidelines.
