Men's Basketball Team . . .MEN'S BASKETBALLPREMIERS 1962Due to the closing down of thebasketball co mpetition at MorningStar Boys' Home, plus the need forbetter co mpet ition, some enthusiasticmembers of our team org a­nized and plann ed another competitionto be play ed at the College.The Navy and Army teams werelook ing for some top class ba sketball,and this association suitedtheir needs. This competition has beena tremendous success up to datebecause of the planning and thoughtof the organizing committee.Toni Burreket is President andPh il Hargreaves is Secretary of theCo mmittee.Over the year, I feel that th eCollege has been a great help inprom oting and furthering this thrillinggame. T han k you to everybodywho has helped in some way tomake this possible.Our College team ha s had a verysuccessful season. This can becredited to the coaching of ToniBurreket and the way the team haswork ed together. We have been"cry' pleased to have three lecturersplaying in the team at differenttimes.
