AUDIT COMMITTEE
This Committee works as an auxiliary, consultative and
advisory committee to the Board of Directors and to
the Bank’s subsidiaries on topics related to accounting
practices used in drafting financial statements.
While it does not have decision-making power or executive
functions, it is also responsible for the quality
and efficiency of internal control and risk administration
systems as well as for indicating and assessing
independent auditing services. It is composed of three
independent members, with this body’s chairman being
qualified according to the Brazilian Central Bank,
with a term of one year, renewable for up to five years.
