Using Intrusion ManagementZone Group(ThorGuardand CU30systemsonly)ZoneZone Group Commands (see online help forstandard commands):Arm Zone Group – Arms the zone group.Disarm Zone Group – Disarms the zone group.Double-clicking the icon displays an associatedmap, if configured (page 20). The border of theicon is red when there is an unacknowledgedalarm in the "Home/Monitoring/Alarms" screen.The status information is similar to thatdisplayed for an area (see above).Zone Commands (see online help for standardcommands):Bypass – Prevents the zone from generatingalarms. The bypass is cancelled when the areais next disarmed. The zone must havebypassing/isolation allowed at the panel.Disable (DSC and ThorGuard systems only) –Disables the zone until re-enabled.Enable – Cancels the effect of Bypass orDisable.Silence Alarm (ThorGuard and DMP systemsonly) – Silences an alarm caused by the zone.Double-clicking a zone icon that has anuncleared alarm in the"Home/Monitoring/Alarms" screen enables you toacknowledge and clear the alarm.The status area near the top of the screendisplays the current status of the zone.The status of the zone is also indicated bythe icon and its border.The icon can be one of the following:Enabled (not bypassed ordisabled).Disabled (DSC and ThorGuardsystems only).Bypassed.Force Armed. See the followingsection for the meaning.The border can be one of the following:Normal state (green border).Zone has unacknowledgedalarm (red border).Alarm acknowledged, detectorstill activated (blue border).Zone has fault. See the followingsection for the meaning.Tamper condition. This isavailable for DSC, CU30 andThorGuard systems only. Using Intrusion ManagementUsing the Intrusion Status ToolbarThe Intrusion Status toolbar, as shown below, provides status information about areas, zones and outputs.From left to right, the toolbar provides the information shown in Table 4.Note: The intrusion Status toolbar can be displayed by selecting Show Toolbar in the "Maintenance/User& Preferences/Accounts" screen.IconMeaningAcknowledge Alarms – Total number of unacknowledged alarms (from any source). Thebackground is red when there is at least one unacknowledged alarm.Area Alarms – Total number of areas that are currently in an alarm. An area alarm may occuronly if the area is armed.All Problems – Total number of alarm, tamper, fault, panel offline, zone group with problemand area with problem conditions.Areas Armed – Total number of areas that are currently armed.Areas Security Reduced – This is applicable only for DSC, ThorGuard and CU30 systems. Itindicates the number of armed areas with security reduced (e.g. because areas are partiallyarmed).Areas Disarmed – Total number of areas that are currently disarmed.Zone Alarms – Total number of zones that are currently in an alarm condition.Zone Tampers – This is applicable for DSC, CU30 and ThorGuard systems and indicates thenumber of zones with an open-circuit zone tamper condition. For CU30 and ThorGuardsystems, a zone tamper condition is temporary and changes to a zone alarm.Zone Faults – Total number of zones that are currently in a fault condition. For DSC systems,a fault occurs when the zone is short circuit.Zones Disabled – Total number of zones that are currently disabled. This applies only toDSC and ThorGuard systems.Zones Bypassed – Total number of zones that are currently bypassed.Zones Force Armed – Total number of zones that have been force armed by the intrusionsystem. A force-armed zone is one that was in a triggered condition while the area was in theprocess of being armed.
