Testing the parameters6.1.1 Pre-treatment bathsThe chemical elements defined by the supplier of the pre-treatment products must beanalysed at least:once a day (24 hours) per bath.The coater must increase the frequency of the analyses of his own accord if it provesnecessary on account of the analyses made.The results of these analyses must be entered in charts or some other record (register)readily accessible to the inspector. They must show the nominal values, maximumvalues not to be exceeded, actual values recorded <strong>and</strong> the number of shifts worked. Aseparate record must be kept <strong>for</strong> each bath.If necessary, any corrective measures must be noted on the chart opposite the date ofthe analysis. If not, they must be recorded in the register.6.1.2 Water <strong>Quality</strong>The conductivity of the final rinsing preceding chromate bath <strong>and</strong> of the demineralisedrinsing water must be measured at least:once a day (24 hours)The coater must increase the frequency of the analyses of his own accord if it provesnecessary on account of the analyses made.The results of these analyses must be entered in charts or some other record (register)readily accessible to the inspector.
