2. Project Advisory Committee (PAC): For every student of MBA Programme there shall bea Project Advisory Committee consisting of only three members out of which at least twowill be from the Faculty of Agribusiness Management. PAC may have an affiliate memberrelated from the company who may act as Co-Guide. The Project Advisory Committee willbe proposed by the Dean, College of Agribusiness Management in third semester of thestudent’s degree programme and will be approved by the Dean, College of <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Graduate</strong>Studies. No compensation/honorarium shall be admissible to Advisors/members of ProjectAdvisory Committee with effect from 2003-2005 batch.4. Requirements for the Master’s degree: A student of MBA programme shall be required tostudy a minimum of 64 semester credit hours (or as approved by the Academic Council fromtime to time) out of which 10 credits will be earned through Project Work.6. Programme of Study: A detailed programme of studies giving the course requirement ofthe students admitted to the Master’s programme in Agribusiness Management shall beprepared by the respective Project Advisory Committee and submitted to the Dean, PGSthrough Dean, CABM for approval within first fifteen days of third semester of the studyprogramme. The programme of studies shall include only the approved courses for theCollege.10. Research Project: Requirement for the Master’s degree in Management shall includesuccessful completion of management research reported in the form of Project Report11. Subject of the Project: The subject of the research project must be approved by the ProjectAdvisory Committee, Dean CABM and Dean PGS. The title of the project shall becommunicated to the Dean, PGS by the Project Advisory Committee, through Dean, CABMin the third semester of the study programme of the student.12. Submission of the Project Report: A candidate for Master’s degree programme inManagement must submit four typed written copies of the Project Report, one each forDean PGS, Dean CABM, Advisor and student duly approved by his Project AdvisoryCommittee to the Dean, CABM latest by the date to be notified by the Dean, CABM. Thestudent will be required to prepare one more copy for the Company, if the Company sodirects. The concerned persons shall ensure that no part the project report is published in anyform without the written permission of the Company concerned.Dean, CABM, in consultation with Dean, PGS, will arrange for the presentation of theProject Report by the student after 15 days from the date of submission.13. Appointment of External Examiner: The Dean, PGS shall appoint an expert from amongstthe names proposed by Dean, CABM for evaluation of the Project Report and presentation.Following shall be the panel for evaluating the presentation of the Project Report by a studentof Master’s degree programme in Management:1. Dean, CABM2. Dean, PGS or his nominee3. Project Advisory Committee4. Expert146
