DATAKOM<strong>DKG</strong>-<strong>705</strong> User’s Manual5.2. Remote Start OperationThe unit offers the possibility of <strong>REMOTE</strong> <strong>START</strong> mode of operation. In this mode the mainsphases are not monitored. If the <strong>REMOTE</strong> <strong>START</strong> signal is present then the mains will be supposed to fail,inversely if the <strong>REMOTE</strong> <strong>START</strong> signal is absent, then mains voltages will be supposed to be present. Thefront panel mimic diagram’s mains LEDs will reflect the status of the <strong>REMOTE</strong> <strong>START</strong> input.Any of the digital inputs may be programmed as a <strong>REMOTE</strong> <strong>START</strong> input. For this thecorresponding input’s P_7x0 parameter should be set to 23. The <strong>REMOTE</strong> <strong>START</strong> signal may be a NO or NCcontact, switching to either battery positive or battery negative.
