DATAKOMDKG-705 User’s Manual10 A23 Parallel CheckTimeout10 A24 Reverse PowerLimit10 A25 ROCOF df/dtLimitSec. 0.0 25.0 This is the delay after the mains contactor isenergized (for parallel to mains) and before theprotections for mains failure are enabled. These protections will deenergize the mainscontactor in case of a mains failure in order toprevent the genset from feeding the network.KW 0 1000 This parameter defines the sensitivity of thereverse power protection while operating inparallel with the mains. When the parallelprotections are enabled, if the genset suppliesa power over this limit to the mains, the mainscontactor will be deenergized and a warningwill be generated. It is advised to set thisparameter to 15% of the genset power rating.Hz/Sec 1.0 25.0 This parameter defines the sensitivity of theROCOF (rate of change of frequency)protection while operating in parallel withmains. When the parallel protections areenabled, if the mains frequency changeexceeds this limit for 4 consecutive periods, the mains contactor will be deenergized and awarning will be generated. It is advised to setthis parameter to 4 Hz/Sec.10 A26 Vector Shift Limit Degr. 1 30 This parameter defines the sensitivity of thevector shift protection while operating inparallel with mains. When the parallelprotections are enabled, if the phase of themains measured on last 2 cycles jumps overthis limit on the phase measured on last 4 th10 A27 Peak LoppingEnable10 A28 Peak Lopping:Mains Power Limit10 A29 Peak Lopping:Genset Start Limit10 A30 Peak Lopping:Genset Stop Limit10 A31 Dual GensetOperation Enableand 5 th period, the mains contactor will bedeenergized and a warning will be generated. It is advised to set this parameter to 10degrees.- 0 1 0: Peak lopping disabled. In AUTO mode thegenset will start only if a mains failure occurs.1: Peak lopping enabled. In AUTO mode, thegenset will start and share the load if themains power exceeds P_A29 (genset startpower).KW 0 5000 In peak lopping mode, the unit will not allowthe mains to deliver to the load a power higherthan this limit in order to protect the mains.KW 0 5000 In peak lopping mode the genset will startand enter in parallel with the mains only if themains power exceeds this limit. However it willsupply power to the load only if the load powerexceeds P_A28 (mains power limit). Thisparameter should be set lower than P_A28.KW 0 5000 In peak lopping mode the genset will stoponly when the total load power falls below thislimit. This parameter should be set lower thanP_A29 (genset start limit).- 0 1 0: Single genset operation.1: Dual genset operation.705-UE.doc - 50 -
