[40 CFR §63.6(e)(3)(iii)]III.J.12 If an action taken by the permittee during a startup, shutdown, or malfunction(including an action taken to correct a malfunction) is not consistent with theprocedures specified in the stmtup, shutdown, and malfunction plan, and thepermittee exceeds any applicable emission limitation in the relevant emissionstandard, then the permittee must record the actions taken for that event and mustreport such actions within 2 working days after commencing actions inconsistentwith the plan, followed by a letter within 7 working days after the end of theevent, in accordance with §63.10(d)(5) (unless the owner or operator makesalternative reporting arrangements, in advance, with the Administrator).
