DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONSINSTALLATION1. Take care of the polarity of new IC and then install thenew IC fitting on the printed circuit pattern. Then soldereach lead on the diagonal positions of IC temporarily.(Refer to Fig. 3-5.)4. When bridge-soldering between terminals and/or thesoldering amount are not enough, resolder using a ThintipSoldering Iron. (Refer to Fig. 3-8.)Thin-tip Soldering IronICSoldering IronFig. 3-8Solder temporarilySolder temporarily2. Supply the solder from the upper position of IC leadssliding to the lower position of the IC leads.(Refer to Fig. 3-6.)Fig. 3-55. Finally, confirm the soldering status on four sides of theIC using a magnifying glass.Confirm that no abnormality is found on the solderingposition and installation position of the parts around theIC. If some abnormality is found, correct by resoldering.NOTEWhen the IC leads are bent during soldering and/orrepairing, do not repair the bending of leads. If thebending of leads are repaired, the pattern may bedamaged. So, be always sure to replace the IC in thiscase.SolderSoldering IronICSupply solderingfrom upper positionto lower positionFig. 3-63. Absorb the solder left on the lead using the BraidedShield Wire. (Refer to Fig. 3-7.)NOTEDo not absorb the solder to excess.Soldering IronICBraided Shield WireFig. 3-7B3-2
