BobCAD-CAM Version 24 Standard & PRO Mill Getting Started ManualPattern Group Lace Zig Zag - A pattern of parallel cuts where the tool feeds in both directions of the pattern. Lace Zig - A pattern of parallel cuts where the tool feeds in one direction and retracts thenmoves form the end of the last cut to the beginning of the next cut. Off Workpiece - If this button is set, BobCAD-CAM will begin the facing toolpath somedistance from the material as defined below. On Workpiece - If this button is set, BobCAD-CAM will begin the facing toolpath directly onthe edge of the material. Distance - If Off Workpiece is set as described above, the user my enter an extra distance offof the material here. This distance is added to half of the diameter of the tool plus the offset.Cut Direction X Direction - When this option is selected, the tool will feed in the X direction. This option canbe selected for both Lace Zig Zag and Lace Zig. Y Direction - When this option is selected, the tool will feed in the Y direction. This option canbe selected for both Lace Zig Zag and Lace Zig.Parameters Cut Width % - This input field indicates the distance between passes based on a percentageof the cutter width. Length X - This field is used to determine the distance of the facing operation in the X axis.
