The programprovides teachers with brief, ready-made lessons oncollege knowledge and career orientation, to be deliveredduring core curriculum courses, such as English or socialstudies. These lessons are supplemented by students’self-learning via the My Mentor website. Each student isgiven a My Mentor account to complete assignmentsconnected with the lessons. Assignments can be saved tostudents’ e-portfolios, which include their workthroughout K-12 and allow them to <strong>for</strong>mulate a collegeplan over the years. SJC launched its K-16 Bridgeprogram in 2009 with a pilot in grades 9–12. Theimplementation plan is to expand the program into lowergrades, beginning with K-3.x Houston x x x x
